hey everyone things are still going great
this week we had my first zone conference with president chipmen and his wife we had to go to jaen which is a 3 hour ride in a taxi but it was so awesome.. i learned so much about the gospel and what we are suppossed to be doing out here. he spoke on the attonement and how we can use it in our teachings and apply it to each of our families that we teach. it was really a good }day.i got to see white people and even speak a little english which was weird but way cool.. i am not the newest person in our zone anymore there are two newer missionaries that got here the ghange after me! the spanish is coming along i am getting more comfortable with speaking and teaching people and that is good. ive made some pretty steep goals and i plan on keeping them i have started to really buckle down and go to work and i can tell the blessings are coming. we are getting so close with the family that fed us cuyi yesterday we visited them with the entire bishopric and spouses and had a little meeting it was really cool.
sounds like everything is going good.. bummer about basketball but its not like we expected anything different.. haha jk good luck on your ragnar race too bad im going to miss it haha..
its not that i have acclimated its that it isnt very hot here hahabut either way is good i am looking forward to the package thanks for everything i love you all

Teaching Primary / Talking in Church

dear fam...
jappy valentines day they do celebrate it down here which is a little wierd but cool i guess we had another baptism yesturday and the water valve broke in the faunt so we spent most of church carting buckets to fill it up haha pretty funny the water was like a yellowish brown it lokked pretty gross and only went up to my knees but we went though with it anyways i made sure i gopt him under the water all the way...
the package was good all the food was etible and it wasnt the one with captain crunch it was with the stockings.. but yeah things are going good i am having a real good time down here the weather is pretty nice.. whil i was in the mtc everyone said to prepare for the heat and i was a little scared but i think i am in one of the only areas that doesnt get that hot which is good we dont have ac we have a fan and thats about it but it never gets used. cold showers are getting a little old i dont think i will ever get used to them but that isnt a big deal. we are getting close with a lot of our investigators and im starting to get the hang of of teaching in spainish not really talking casually but i can talk about the gospel pretty well.. yesterday i had my first talk in church haha it lasted about 10 min. not too bad i talked about the importance of missionary work in the mambers.. im not sure if they understood me or not but no one said anything negative after so i am guessing more or less the got the gist of it. after i had to teach the primary lets just say if you ever get the opportunity to teach 15 kids aging from 3 to 11 that dont speak the same language as you pass on it haha it was rough. we played games and then i just had them draw a picture of jesus haha..
anyways souunds like things are pretty normal up in az i heard about that story with jon pretty crazy.. how exactly did thatcher do in state soccer? state bball i dont think it will top last year even though we lost it was a good game i bet they wont make it very far this year... ragnar a bunch of old ladies running for 24 hours straitght sounds like fun too bad im going to miss it lol.. prom sounds pretty intense very creative i guees haha.. and about dads nose thats just too bad a litlle funny but too badd haha anyways things are good once again please tell me if you have recieved the letter i sent to dad i need to know so i can send more letters and be sure they will make it.. still no word from uncle chris im not sure there is anything else tell nick i have been writing him every time he writes me im not sure they are making it to his email address though.

Christmas Finally Arrives!

hello family and mother..
i recieved the package this week and thank you so much for everything my comp sends his grattitude too he was very excited and plays with the little toys like everynight..
so i am pretty jealous about the whole temple dedication thing that i am going to miss it is so awesome that president monson will be coming to our small town or central.. by the time i get home all that will be old news ... oh well i guess i will just have to settle with the satifaction of bringing people to christ..
super bowl sunday it is wierd that all sense of time is absollutely gone holidays seasons and everything is just gone for two years like idk it is hard to explain but all the days just blend into the next especuially wehn you are dong the same thing everyday and you have no sense of time especially here peru idk about paraguay but these people have no sense of time. if they set a meeting fo 7 it wont start till 8, its like everything is chill and they have the attitude that we will get to it when we get to... at times it is annoying but i have gotten used to it...
that is too bad about jake im sure it is pretty rough for him.. are his kids living there too? or us ut just him and sage?

if you think it rains up in arizona try spending a few days down here everyday is off and on rain, and since the streets are like mountains it is like rivers flowing down them.. pretty crazy but cool

spanish is coming everyday i learn a litlle more i can honesly say i am far from being comfortable with the language but i know it will come.. righ now we are teaching a "familily" a 14 year old girl living with her 26 year old boyfriend and his sister that is a 12 year difference! it is pretty awkward just tell rebeka not to get anny ideas haha
anyways things sound pretty good thatnks for the updates on everyone and everything
candy and food requests...
sour stuff haha the sourer the better and mm's with peanuts idk anything else is fine too just whatever ill be happy haha thanks

No Changes for Now....

I am still in san ignacio and still with my same comp..
i am happy becaue i know how hard a change would have b3en this early but kinda dissapointed cause i think it would have really helped my spanish... but ive decided that i am going to stop complaining about how much i neeed to improve my spanish and just do it. i realized that it is up to me how fast oor how slow i immprove ao i am going to just do it.. the lord will bless me when he knows that i am doing all i can...
no christmas package the mailing system is so unorganized and crap down here so i have been told to expect it tommarow but im not getting my hopes up... i did recieve the camera package though and thanks for that that is exactly what i needed..
i didnt get an email from uncle chris yet but thank you for letting him know sounds like soccer is doing a lot better than last year which is good rebeka said they are heading to state which is good too.. i heard that chris the foreign exchange student is getting baptised? i wasnt sure if that was true but that is awesome if it is..
sounds like nick is really livin it up and doing work with the vacation i hope he is ready for the big bad college life haha...
im glad the guitar is getting some use now i never really learned how to play so even if i had time i wouldnt know what to do with it haha..
about the llama stuff i havent really seen any here but it is the summer now and im sure when it starts to geta little colder they ship some wool stuff in but im not sure... i am going to hold off on shipping things home for a while at least till i can comunicate a little better to make sure it will get there im doing fine on money so dont worry about that...
anyways this week was pretty good 3 baptisms! two kids an one 22 year old guy it was really awesome the two kids are of the family of that inactive guy i told you about last week and the mom and dad are working really hard to meet there goals so that they can get married and the mom can get baptized too. the 22 year guy has a girlfriend who is a member and that is how we met him he is really cool and i think is going to be a strong member... he has a sister and we are going to start talking to here too so the odds are pretty good that she will follow her brotheri am really starting to get accustomed to the area and am enjoying it quite a bit so that is always good
i sent a letter to dad and annie a couple weeks ago let me know if it gets there and you also spoke about trina stevens making a list with all my friends mission addresses that would be nice too other than that i am going good.. as for the contacts send them however you like im not really sure what would be best but when you do i remembered that in my playstation portable (that is the black gameboy type thing in my room ask nick to get the chip) there is another memory chip that will work for my cameraif you would send that too it would be appreaciated... but yeah

More Baptisms on the Way

okay so i will just start by saying that i am not completely sure what that code is but its either 1144 4411 or 4444 haha i think its been a while since ive had to worry about that anyways is he using my number too or just my phone? no big deal just curious
yes the guiennea pig was good and i really want to eat it again haha.. you can buy some from the feed shop and ill cook them up when i get home lol. nothing else really too exoctic they eat here just bananas with everything! like boiled bannannas fried bannanas baked bannanas everyway you could think of the y eat em´ but they taste gross a lot of the time so i try to stay away from them. Things are going pretty good i think we are in line for two more baptisms this week this guy who has been an ex member for like 5 years stopped us on the street and said that he wanted us to visit his family and now he wants his kids to get baptized im not sure about the wife yet but im sure it will happen....
anyways spanish is getting a little better i still have trouble expressing myself in the way that i want to. but i know that it is going to take time. this might be the last week i have with my comp cause we have changes at the end of the week and i think he is leaving so thats kinda a bummer but change is good.not really much more this week
your package is comming though i guees the paper they sent that i signed had to be notorized to be valid so we got all that straightend out today and i should get it by thursday! that is crazy about chris engaged already!? wow definetly not what i want haha i dont have the adress for the mission home on me now but im sureits right i got the the packages from earlier and from sam and anica and the other one is comiong too so i wouldnt worry about it being wrong. i{m not going to lie i am way jealous that nick is going to the bahamas haha! that is so awesomeand doesnt even have to pay! that sucks abotu the cards i thought theyd be able to pull it out this year but i guess we need to rely on th suns to represent haha. the temple looks alot the same as when i left idk if its just the pictures are that high of quality or what but april 25 isnt that far away so im sure they are pretty close...

i hope you found the snowboard boots i burried them pretty deep lol..
sounds pretty crazy down there or up there lisa got hit by a truck! haha carzy nick hittin up with marcy lol that is funny tell him i dont want to be an uncle yet haha i dont know who shawn is but that is cool... basketball how exciting... not haha 12 15 i would like to see the stats to that game! high scorer: 4 points! haha yeah anyways sounds like a good time im not sure what else to write about home if you could update me on the suns and cardinals that would be nice...
not much happend this week we are still working with that family and trying to commit them to be baptized but its tough.. today we went to there house and they prepared cuyi for us and in case you dont know what that is... ITS GUINNEA PIG haha we went over there and they had me catch two of them and then the mom just broke thier necks and started to tear off all the fur haha! itwas hard not to laugh but they just prepareed it right there and fried it up and we ate it with potatoes and rice haha and it was really really good i mean like i enjoyed it alot! but that is pretty much my only exciting story this week spanish it still pretty rough and i try to study harder everyday to help but idk.
my area is pretty good a lot of mountains and alot of waling straight up no our president hasnt been here yet and idk much about him but i think i will like him quite a bit. i did not recieve the christmas package but i did get a package from anica and samantha so i dont think your guys package is coming haha. the camera one hasnt come yet either and that one i am expecting to recieve so i will let you know when that comes dad i got your letter too so that is good everthing is good my only wish is that i could learn spanish faster and i know its hard but i just want to be able to talk to people! anyways things are good and only getting better idk about transfers if i had to guess i would say i am staying and my comp is going he will have been here for 4 and a half months so idk whats going to happen btw his name is elder rengifo and he is really wierd. i told him that WWF wrestling was fake and i thought he was going to break down in tears haha but he is chiil so that is good
